Potters' Guild Classes
Wheel throwing and hand building
The Potters’ Guild offers classes at its Haslett studio four times a year. Adult students, both beginning and experienced, work with excellent instructors to develop wheel throwing and glazing skills. Classes meet weekly for ten 3-hour sessions. In addition, four 3-hour student practice sessions are offered each week. The fee of $300 per term covers instruction, practice hours, 50 pounds of clay, glaze materials and firing. Please see below for a detailed class calendar.

Registration:
The Summer 2024 evening class, taught by member, Tim Candy, will focus on hand-building and sculpture techniques. The morning class, taught by member, Barb Hranilovich, will follow our usual class format with a focus on wheel-throwing and some instruction on hand-building and form alteration. All skill levels are welcome for either class!

The Summer 2024 term will start on June 10th. Postmark date for enrollment: Saturday, May 11th. Please note that registration priority is given to applications which are sent on (not before) the postmark date, and priority is not determined by the date that the application is received; expedited mailing is not necessary.
