I've always enjoyed working with my hands—gardening, knitting, crocheting, and quilting. After retiring in 2018, my daughter encouraged me to try pottery, and from my first class in 2019, I was hooked. I focus on creating functional, aesthetically pleasing pieces that often feature geometric designs and shapes. Each work is wheel-thrown, hand-built, or a combination of both. I carefully consider form, texture, and glaze to enhance each piece. The process—from shaping raw clay to firing and glazing—brings me joy, and every kiln opening is a moment of discovery.
