"She loved the smell of wet dirt the way others might love the smell of roses" Dawn Hewitt
Pamela Timmons
I've been a professional potter for almost 40 years, making pots and sculptures, always with a reference to horticulture and my love of nature.
My work has been featured in the books 500 Animals in Clay, 5oo Tiles, and Making Ceramic Sculpture. It is also part of the permanent collections at Lansing Community College, Ascension Lutheran Church in East Lansing, and Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, has been displayed in the Michigan Governor's Residence, has been featured in the Pewabic Pottery gallery since 1998, and for several years was part of the Art Prize competition in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where my turtles were voted into the top 25 in 2015.

Clay is ever changing, always challenging, and I can't wait to see what happens next in my studio!
